ABOUT ME
Having a passion for knowledge and peacemaking, I've set my sights on undertaking research at the Senator George J Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice at Queen's University Belfast.
Over the next few years, through the support of LINCS (Leverhulme Interdisiplinary Network for Cyber Security) and the Rotary Foundation's Global Grant Scholarship, I'll be exploring how police and communities interact through visual technologies. I'm interested in looking at racialised tensions in protest situations, and how we might reexamine relationships with surveillance machines. When I'm not researching, I'm out hiking in the Mournes, sailing in Belfast Harbour, playing my ukelele at the Sunflower and trying new vegan recipes.
